It was good to get back into playing rugby - after last night's Swalec cup win against Ebbw Vale we get right back into it when we entertain Pontypridd RFC at Parc-y-Scarlets this coming Saturday 30th Jan - ko 2.30pm. Seems an age ago now, but prior to the cup game our last match was on 2nd January, well over three weeks ago, so let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that the weather is a lot kinder to us over the coming weeks as there is a lot of rugby to be played. Like ourselves, "Ponty" are in the same position, indeed they've played even fewer games than ourselves. Apart from their cup game, their last league match took place way back on the 12th Dec ! They are due to play one of their cancelled fixtures tonight [Wed 27th] when they travel to Cross Keys - no doubt they will have worked up a head of steam for our clash. Games against "Ponty" whether at home or away are very much full on encounters and we know they will present a formidable challenge. We need to get back to winning ways in the league & "Ponty" will be looking to take the spoils and strenghen their league title aspirations. One things for sure, the boys will be well up for the challenge, so why not come along this Saturday and support the town side. Oh, and just a reminder, the Scarlets take on Wasps in the early evening so why not make a day of it .....See you in the CLWB after our game to watch the SCARLETS !
