We are back in cup action this week when we take on Ulster A in the 3RD round of pool matches in the British & Irish cup. The game will take place at Parc-y-Scarlets on Friday 12th February K.OFF 7.15pm.

With a couple of good results behind us, we go in search of a first win in this newly created tournament after suffering setbacks against Aberavon & Bedford in the first two rounds. Whilst it looks extremely unlikely that we can qualify out of the pool, there is nevertheless a lot of rugby still to play and these cross border games provide that little bit extra, so expect an exciting game this Friday.

Ulster A or perhaps better known as the Ravens come to the Parc having secured two wins and are very much one of favourites to lift the trophy in May, so it’s a great opportunity for our young squad to step up a gear and show the regions’ coaches that we have the quality in the squad to play at what will probably be regional level.

With Irish rugby on a high, why not come along to see how Ulster shape up against  the town semi-pro side – it should be a cracking game.
