After our hard fought win last week against the Wanderers we, once again are at home in our next fixture when we entertain our near neighbours Carmarthen Quins RFC. The game is scheduled for this Wednesday 17th March with a kick off time of 7.15pm.
Back in October we managed to secure a win in Carmarthen in what was a very tight game - there is every likely hood of another keenly contested encounter on the cards. Our recent home form has been excellent with some good wins behind us with the squad playing some attractive rugby in the process. Yes, for those at the game, we did pick up a few bumps in the Wanderers game so team selection could be very interesting this week.
The Quins have had a mixed bag of results lately, going down last Saturday at home to Cardiff and last week going down to Neath at the Gnoll, two very tough games for them. Prior to that they secured two very good away wins in the space of a week against Ebbw Vale & the Wanderers so they will pose a real threat.
After this game we will be on the road for our next three games, so it’s very important that we enter that period of the season with another “W” behind us.
As always we are extremely grateful for your support so try and come along to Parc – y Scarlets to support our young players. It should be another exciting Premiership clash.
KO Wed 17th 7.15pm.
