It’s our final Principality League game this week. We travel to Sardis Road to be entertained by Pontypridd RFC this coming Wednesday 21ST April K.Off 7.15pm
After our exertions on Sunday, and Ponty’s disappointment last Saturday it’s a game, which in previous seasons may not have had much riding on the outcome. This season however is different. With the top four league finishers automatically qualifying for the British & Irish Cup next season both sides will be looking for the win to secure their place in the competition.
With six teams qualifying for the B&I cup, defeat for us, means we finish outside the top four and puts us in a playoff situation with three other sides fighting to just two places – so whilst it’s an end of season league clash, it should be another full on game.
Many thanks for your support at St Helens, look forward to seeing you in Sardis Road this coming Wednesday.
Koff 7.15pm
