Llanelli RFC conditioning coach Eifion Roberts gave his squad a short summer break until June 21st when they reported back for duty at Parc Y Scarlets to start their fitness regime for season 2010/11.

While many of the players will be training full time with the Scarlets, there have been several new young talented players invited to join the core semi-pros’s, along with new signings flanker Matt Gilbert, outside half Owen Williams, prop Matthew Evans and full back/wing Liam Williams.

This season’s Principality Premiership fixtures will be released following the Magners League fixtures, with the opening Premiership game scheduled for Saturday 28th August.

Llanelli RFC will be supporting the very popular Cwmtawe 7s tournament  (www.cwmtawe7s.org.uk) on Saturday 7th August, with pre-season matches  following on the 14th and 21st August against opposition yet to be confirmed.

Last season Llanelli RFC played 40 matches in total and with another full Principality Premiership fixture list (26 matches) plus SWALEC and British and Irish Cups to play for there will be plenty of quality rugby for our supporters.
