The pre-season feels like a long one, as preperations for the coming season began in May. Players were assessed and screened for musculoskeltal weaknesses to create individual prehab programmes.

All the players have been in since June and working on the programmes along with their weights programmes introduced by the new fitness coach, James Murray.

Thus far, there have been no serious injuries, but there have been a few minor niggles as the players have got stuck in to a tough pre-season training schedule. The rugby part of the pre-season programme has now begun, but hopefully this will mean no difference in the amount of injuries sutained!!

There are pre-season games planned against Blackwood, Doncaster Knights and Whitland, along with the Cwmtawe tournament next Saturday and these will provide a tough physical challenge leading up to our season opener against Glamorgan Wanderers. This will hopefully be a succesful pre-season leading into a succesful and injury-free season!!
